Checking out local gluten-free spots is one of my favorite things to do while traveling. Maui offered several great spots, including Maui Sugar Shop Bakery, located in the quaint little town of Lahaina.
They are an organic, 100% gluten-free bakery. YUM!
I also got to meet the owner Cynthia and snapped a pic with her! They are open everyday and I would highly recommend you make a stop here and enjoy all that Lahaina has to offer.
We were returning from a snorkeling excursion and I was starving. I had packed a meager lunch for the boat trip. I grabbed some goodies to share (and some for myself!). Always a sucker for a gluten-free donut and did they have an awesome one! Smore’s donut for the win – especially with that gorgeous backdrop!
